Silent Auction and updates

Thank you for all the help during the recent pizza sales drive.

Join us for the Silent Auction coming up on February 23rd at Metcalf, during the State Grade level tournament. We have many items available to bid on including Gift cards to restaurants, salon and spa packages, theatre tickets, museum and gallery tickets & family fun, auto care packages, wine packages, craft brewery items, private lessons from Chess Masters, Chess themed merchandise, keepsakes, and more!

The 2nd Annual brewery tour at Baldman Brewing is approaching on April 6. Tickets are available at an Early Bird price of just $25 before March 23rd, $30 after March 23rd

In addition, updates have been made to the various pages of the site including the tournament calendar.

Metcalf chess also has a new online store for Limited Edition apparel items. It is based on a fundraising site, therefore the orders will be shipped out on March 4th. Plus, when 5 items or more are ordered at once, the shipping is Free. Make to to take a look!

Old Cord Fundraising drive

Thank you for the recent support during the give to the Max day.
Beginning at the Priyanka Open November 17th, we will be collecting old, used, non-working, or otherwise unwanted strings of holiday lights. Bring your unwanted strings of lights to Metcalf Middle School (2250 Diffley Road) for collection. The Chess team will recycle them with a local recycler. This keeps lights out of a landfill, and proceeds will support the club. Win-Win! We will also accept unwanted extension cords, and computer cables. We will get .32 a pound for Christmas lights and .70 a pound for extension cords and computer cables.
